Each Chaxa Mug is a small sculpture in daily life. Hand-built in my studio, this cup plays with bold contrasts and graphic shapes. No two pieces are exactly the same and that is the beauty of handcraft.

About Chaxa : ( pronounced Cha-k-sa ) is inspired by the Laguna Chaxa in the Atacama Desert in Chile, a place where vibrant colors, natural textures an quiet landscapes meet. Just like my ceramics, it's a fusion of nature, simplicity and strong forms.
