Every curve of the Machu vessel carries the mark of human hands. Crafted entirely by me in my studio in Ghent, Belgium, it is shaped without moulds, using the traditional coiling technique – a slow, meditative process where each coil of clay is placed and smoothed one by one.

Once the form is complete, I hand-paint the surface, giving each vessel its own personality and subtle variations in colour and texture. No two pieces are ever the same.

The Machu vessel draws inspiration from the strength and serenity of ancient Andean architecture. Its bold, grounded shape makes it a statement piece for any interior, whether standing alone as an art object or holding fresh or dried flowers.

A piece to live with, to move with you through time, and to carry its own story.
